Kelly Rowland was honoured last night at ESSENCE’s 3rd annual “black women in music” event in Hollywood.
Kelly performed Destiny’s Child songs like “Survivor” and “Independent Women,” and her recent hits “Motivation,” “When Love Takes Over” and “like This,” joined by rapper Eve.
Songwriter/producer Rico presented Kelly with the official plaque celebrating the platinum sales of her “Motivation” single.
“To all women out there, God bless you,” Said Kelly “I couldn’t have done this without you.
