The song features R&B crooner Ne-Yo and the head honcho of Maybach Music Group, Rick Ross. It’s the first song to be released from the soundtrack of the upcoming film Think Like a Man, which was inspired by funnyman Steve Harvey’s best-selling book.
J-Hud praised her male co-stars. “Ne-Yo has got to be the greatest songwriter of our generation,” she said, “and Rick Ross has everything—the street, that swag, he can kinda give you Biggie.”
“The concept is derived from the film and the thought process is that women need to always act like a lady and be a woman, but think like a man, take up for yourself and be strong,” explained director Chris Robinson.
