Nicki Minaj’s new album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded still isn’t on shelves yet but a new single from the album has just leaked onto the internet. “Marylin Monroe,” a song about the difficulties of being famous, has been making its way on music blogs todayMTV reports that the song is probably a leak from Minaj’s new album. But since the recording isn’t quite crystal clear, it’s probably just a demo version that will be cleaned up a bit before its official release.
Of course, Nicki Minaj just performed in the Super Bowl last night and plenty of people have been talking about her today. So maybe this was one of those on purpose leaks…
Either way, here’s the new Nicki Minaj song “Marilyn Monroe.”The song lyrics draw on a famous quote from monroe, in which she said: “I’m selfish, impatient and a little insecure.
